Meet Dr. Shivam Amin

Dr. Shivam Amin is a true Monmouth County native, having grown up right here in the local community. His journey into dentistry began at the University of Delaware, where he earned his degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. This combination allowed him to master the technical science of a smile while developing a deep understanding of the person behind it. He believes that the best dental care happens when a doctor truly listens, ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and completely at ease.

Dr. Amin earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. In addition to receiving an excellent education, he chose to head to the Midwest to gain an appreciation for a different part of the country and learn about different people and cultures. During his time there, he also served as Class Treasurer and Vice President. Since graduating, Dr. Amin has remained committed to the latest advancements in the field, completing extensive continuing education in dental implants, clear aligner therapy, and modern patient management.

If you’ve ever felt “dental anxiety,” Dr. Amin is the dentist for you. He distinctly remembers being in the patient’s shoes not knowing the clinical jargon and worrying about being lectured or judged. Because of those experiences, he uses a bit of humor and a lot of empathy to make sure you have a clear understanding of your health. His goal is to treat his patients like family, providing thoughtful, personalized care in the community he has always called home.

Outside the office, when he isn’t managing his fantasy football roster or getting lost in a new thriller TV series, he is usually spending time with his friends, family, and his Cavapoo, Raja. He also loves to travel when he can, with his favorite adventure to date being a safari in Nairobi, Kenya.
